Question 1

How long does ceramic coating last?

Accepted Answer

Boulos Detail directly backs our GYEON certified ceramic coatings with a 10-year warranty. For installs on or after October 23, 2026, maintenance is required every 6 months. Visits include a coating-safe wash, inspection, and ceramic booster. Sedans and coupes are $100. SUVs and trucks are $120. Booking is your responsibility. Missing a visit beyond the 30-day grace period voids the warranty. Free recoats are every 2 years or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first, and count as that period's maintenance. Wash charges may apply and paint correction is extra. Earlier installs keep their original terms.

Question 2

Is mobile detailing as good as going to a shop?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, yes — and for luxury and exotic vehicles, we'd argue it's better. You get one-on-one attention from a trained detailer at your location.

Question 3

How long does a full detail take?

Accepted Answer

Exterior details take about 1 hour, interiors 1–3 hours, full details 2–3 hours. Ceramic coatings typically run 6–8 hours or a full day.

Question 4

How often should I get my car detailed?

Accepted Answer

An exterior detail every 4–6 weeks and a full detail every 3–4 months is a solid baseline. For consistently showroom-ready vehicles, our Maintenance Program is the better fit.

Question 5

Will detailing remove scratches?

Accepted Answer

Light swirl marks and surface scratches can often be reduced or eliminated through paint correction, included in our ceramic coating packages. Deep scratches require paint repair.

Question 6

Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?

Accepted Answer

Ceramic coating resists light scratches and swirl marks better than unprotected paint, but is not scratch-proof.

Question 7

How should I prepare my car before a detail?

Accepted Answer

Just remove any personal items from the interior. We handle everything else.

Question 8

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve a wide coverage area across North Dallas and surrounding communities. See our service areas page for the full list.

Question 9

Do you work on exotic or supercar vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we've worked on Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, and more.

Question 10

What's the difference between wax, sealant, and ceramic coating?

Accepted Answer

Wax lasts 4–8 weeks, sealant 3–6 months, ceramic coating bonds to paint and lasts years with significantly better UV, chemical, and contamination protection.
